Uptime & reliability

Uptime and reliability

Link Mahal hosts the storefront your customers open. Checkout saves the order in the merchant dashboard, then opens WhatsApp. We aim for reliable uptime and do not publish a guaranteed uptime percentage.

How an order survives

The menu loads first. The chat comes last.

WhatsApp is the handoff, not the catalog. These four steps are what merchants and customers can count on when Link Mahal itself is available.

  1. 01

    Open the link

The menu is a web page at the shop’s address. No app install and no customer account.

  2. 02

    Build the cart

Items, quantities, and notes stay on the page while the customer browses.

  3. 03

    Order is saved

Checkout writes the order into that merchant’s dashboard before anything else happens.

  4. 04

    WhatsApp opens

The same order is pre-filled in a message. If WhatsApp is slow, the dashboard copy is already there.

Merchants

The catalog and the order list stay with you

A published store is a web page on Link Mahal. Products, prices, and orders live in your dashboard, not only inside a WhatsApp chat.

Share one address — Instagram bio, table QR, or Google listing. You edit in the dashboard; customers see the published catalog. You do not run a server for that page.

If WhatsApp is slow, open the order in the dashboard, call the customer, or send the message when chat works again. You should not have to rebuild the order from voice notes.

Customers

Order as a guest from the shop’s link

People buying from a Link Mahal store do not create a login. They use the merchant’s link.

Open the link, add what you want, and checkout with your name, phone, and delivery or pickup. The shop receives that order in their dashboard and on WhatsApp.

You can read the menu before you message the shop. Payment choices are only the ones that shop turned on — cash on delivery, pickup, Whish, OMT, or similar.

Plain terms

No invented uptime score

We aim for steady availability and do not publish a guaranteed percentage. Maintenance or a hosting issue can interrupt the site. WhatsApp and payment apps are separate services. The limit is also in our terms.

Who runs what

A working menu is not a working chat

When something fails, this is the shortest way to see whose side it is on.

Piece Who runs it If it fails
Store link and menu Link Mahal The page will not load. Send us the link and the time.
Orders in the dashboard Link Mahal New orders wait until the dashboard is back. They are not only in WhatsApp.
WhatsApp message WhatsApp The order is already saved. The shop sends it when chat works again.
Whish, OMT, banks Those services Pick another method the shop turned on, or try again later.
Phone and mobile data The customer The menu cannot open until that phone has a connection.

If something fails

What to do in the moment

Open the case that matches what you see. You do not need to read the whole page again.

WhatsApp did not open

The order is still in the merchant dashboard: items, quantities, customer details, and payment method. The shop can call or message when WhatsApp is available. Customers do not need to place the order a second time.

The menu page will not load

Check the full link, whether the store is published, and whether other websites open on the same phone. If the address is right and only Link Mahal fails, contact us with the store link and the approximate time.

A payment method failed

Whish, OMT, and banks approve payments on their own systems. The catalog can still be open. Choose another method that shop enabled, such as cash on delivery or pickup, or retry that payment later.

Did an update change the store link?

No. The public address stays linkmahal.com/your-store. A short maintenance window can make the page briefly unavailable. The URL itself does not change.

Tell us the store link and the time

That is enough to separate a Link Mahal issue from WhatsApp or a payment app. Merchants and customers can both write.

Keep selling from one hosted link

Flat monthly plans. Zero commission on orders. Your customers open the menu; you confirm on WhatsApp.

FAQ

Uptime and reliability — common questions

Direct answers for merchants and for people ordering from a Link Mahal store.

No. Link Mahal aims for reliable uptime for hosted storefronts and the merchant dashboard, and does not publish a guaranteed uptime percentage. Maintenance, hosting issues, or events outside our control can interrupt service. That limit is also in our terms under platform availability.
Checkout saves the order in the merchant dashboard first, then opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. If WhatsApp does not open, the merchant still has the order — items, quantities, customer details, and payment method — and can reply when WhatsApp is available again.
Yes, when Link Mahal itself is available. The store link is a hosted web page. Customers can browse the catalog and complete checkout without WhatsApp being open. WhatsApp is the handoff after the order is saved, not the menu itself.
Orders are stored in the merchant’s Link Mahal dashboard, scoped to that store. The same order is what WhatsApp is asked to send. Merchants confirm, adjust, and fulfill from the dashboard and from WhatsApp.
Those payment networks are separate from Link Mahal. The catalog and checkout can still be used. A customer can choose another method the merchant has enabled, such as cash on delivery or pickup, or try the payment again later. Link Mahal does not control Whish, OMT, or bank uptime.
No. Customers open the store link, add items, and checkout as guests. They do not create a Link Mahal login. The merchant receives the order in the dashboard and on WhatsApp.
No. Your public address stays linkmahal.com/your-store. Releases update the platform underneath that link. A short maintenance window can make the page briefly unavailable; the URL itself does not change.
Message Link Mahal on WhatsApp or email support@linkmahal.com and include the store link, what you were doing, and the time. Merchants can also use the help center. The contact page lists both channels.
