Merchant accounts: name, email, phone, business details, billing information, store settings, and content you upload (products, banners, logos).
Customer interactions: when shoppers use a storefront we may process cart contents, checkout form fields, and technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for analytics, fraud prevention, and abandoned-cart features where enabled by the merchant's plan.
Support & communications: messages you send through contact forms, help tickets, or email.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the platform.
- Authenticate users and manage subscriptions.
- Generate order summaries and WhatsApp message templates for merchants.
- Send service emails (verification, billing, security alerts).

4. Merchant & customer roles
Merchants are independent controllers of their customer order data for fulfillment purposes. Link Mahal processes that data on the merchant's behalf to operate the storefront and dashboard. Merchants should publish their own customer-facing privacy practices where required by law.
5. Sharing & processors
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery), payment reviewers where applicable, and authorities when legally required. All subprocessors are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations appropriate to their role.
6. Retention & security
We retain account and order records while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal compliance. We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and secure session handling.
7. Your rights
